My passion for designing and working with wall murals came about shortly after I completed my first professional project right out of high school. I was commissioned to work on a large wraparound mural, which included holiday scenes depicting 38 life size figures. Working through this experience was extremely rewarding and inspired me to pursue this medium on a professional level.
After graduating from Pratt Institute, I spent several years working as a graphic artist for New York City advertising agency. This experience sharpened my skills as a designer and provided me with a well rounded perspective in the arts.
In dealing with clients, my priority is to identify their specific needs. Every project is unique and requires an open mind. I take into a consideration the style of your home, the purpose of the room, the lighting, color, furniture and your favorite objects before I begin to paint. I spend the time to create your unique and perfect environment so you can feel comfortable for years to come.
At times I will make samples, or create sketches to come up with the right idea. I use my experience in fine art and communication design to develop concepts that turn my projects into beautiful works of art. I use a variety of techniques including stenciling, glazing as well as many others, all of which provide a diverse palette of choices to create any desired effect.
In most cases murals take a few days to complete. My expertise allows me to work on more than one room at a time, creating a pleasing environment in your home in just a week s time.
Art is a comfort to the soul and entertainment to the eye of the beholder. Creating a mural is a great investment in your home and your life. I take great pride in my work, and I am honored to put my expertise to work for you.
